1921

Aeroplane branded seeds was the first agricultural product to have warranty, expiration date, and product exchange.

Mr. Chia Ek Chor opened the Chia Tai Chung vegetable seed store on Song Wat Road.

1939

Expanded business to Songkhla province and overseas such as Malaysia, Singapore, Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam.

1953

Established the first modern animal feed production facility at Trok Chan.

1959

Started a vegetable seed experimental farm.

1964

Mr. Dhanin Chearavanont was appointed General Director at the age of 25.

1970

Pioneered poultry farming with Arbor Acres chickens which was considered the best chicken breed in the world at the time, including the use of rearing house management technology for the poultry farming.

1973

Set up the feed mill on Bangna-Trad Road Km. 21 which was Southeast Asia's largest and most technological advanced feed mill at that time.

Chia Tai's first poultry exports to Japan became a huge success and have been internationally recognized as quality products.

1975

Became Thailand's first company to offer integrated poultry farming and minimum income guarantees to poultry farmers.

1976

Registered under the name "Charoen Pokphand Group Co., Ltd." to manage the expansion of its businesses both in Thailand and overseas.

1977

Launched the Chearavanont Uthit School Project to promote education in rural areas.

Launched the Nongwa Agricultural Village Project to enable 50 farmers to have and operate swine farm in their own right. Now the village is considered as the most advanced swine farming community in Thailand.

1978

Launched the Kamphaeng Phet Agricultural Village Project which was served as a model project for farmers' capacity improvement.
